Chunky turquoise bracelet #228

$ 38.00 USD

This bracelet is made using chunks of turquoise, sterling silver Bali beads, Ethiopian silver prayer beads and an African glass trading bead.

It measures 9" and expands (with chain) to 11" (just under 23 - 28 centimeters).

Turquoise is said to ease nervousness and stress.  It was used for protection and healing by the Native Americans.

African Shell and Bone Bracelet #377

$ 38.00 USD

This bracelet features a lightweight shell found on the shores of Africa by the artist.  The shell is stunning and has colors typically African - buttery golden, cream, white and copper with a deep, rich brown center.  The band is made using white bone beads, copper-colored glass seed beads, two seeds and handmade Abo (bauxite) beads from Ghana.  The clasp and link chain are handmade using copper wire.  It is made to wear like a cuff so as not to roll around on the wrist.  It measures 6 3/4 inches (17 centimeters) and extends to 8.5 inches (21.5 centimeters).

Chunky Blue Glass Ghana Bead Bracelet #403

$ 46.00 USD

This bracelet features three chunky blue glass beads handmade in Ghana.  See "Jewelry Ingredients" page for details on the beads.  They are threaded on hand-formed stainless steel wire.  The bottom half swings open to put on.

Everything about this bracelet feels organic to me - the incredible and individual shapes of the glass beads, and the wire, which was made, like the beads, to look imperfectly shaped.  The light plays inside each glass bead and makes them look like ice.  I can imagine this worn in the tropics, with a sundress.  But I designed and made it in the cool weather sitting by a fire.

See images below for enlargements and other angles.

Yellow Jade, Wire and Handmade Glass Bead Bracelet #235

$ 38.00 USD

This bracelet was made with 3 chunks of multi-faceted yellow jade and a single handmade glass bead on wire.  The bottom half swings open to make it easy to put on, and there is a built in hook type clasp formed with the wire.  The back half has tiny glass amber colored seed beads.

See images below for other angles and for close ups.

Sea Glass and Jasper Bracelet #236

$ 48.00 USD

Autumn, forests, nature, this bracelet makes me think of all of these things.  It was made with oblong, odd-shaped jasper beads with tiny copper colored seed beads between each jasper.  The main feature is a dark amber colored piece of sea glass which is wrapped in wire.  The clasp is built into the wire on the sea glass part, so that part swings open and closed and is easy to put on.

For a whole other look, the bracelet can be worn with the glass on the bottom of the wrist, showing the jasper.  It's like two bracelets in one!

Sea Glass Bracelet #420

$ 38.00 USD

This bracelet features a gorgeous cobalt-blue chunk of sea glass I found on the shores of Africa, which I wire wrapped and strung with tiny blue glass seed beads and round amber-colored frosted glass beads.  Glass!  Even the word is sumptuous!

The clasp is hand-crafted and built into the side of the sea glass, enabling the bracelet to swing open on a type of hinge.

Sea Glass and Ocean Jasper Bracelet #421

$ 48.00 USD

This bracelet features a faint sea-foam green chunk of sea glass I found on a beach in Africa, which I wire wrapped and strung with irregular oblong beads of Ocean Jasper (a rare stone these days, mined only off the shore of Madigascar, and only during low tide), interspersed with tiny copper-colored glass seed beads.

The clasp in hand-crafted and built into the bracelet.
